OOTP Cast's interview at Entertainment Weekly Mag

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly , that also contains those yesterday's photos, is now online .
In this interview, some small hints are given like Phoenix will run under two and a half hours and be the shortest film so far and David Yates might return to direct the sixth one.

Yates said "While nothing's finalized, Yates is expected to return for film 6, which is slated to begin shooting this September."

Jason Isaacs: "Today is Helena Bonham Carter's first day playing the evil witch Bellatrix Lestrange, Sirius' warped cousin as well as his mortal enemy. Her costume may be entirely black, but she's counting on her pushed-up bustline to help her stand out. ''It's not a huge part,'' she says, her elocution remarkably clear despite a mouth full of fake teeth. ''So I thought I could have lots of breast, if not lots of lines.''

HPDH's cover's review by editor himself

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows US editor, Mr. Arthur Levine talked about the book 7's cover-art:

"We're seeing Harry in a very interesting situation. Readers will find out exactly what the situation is.
When I was reading it, I had both the excitement and the power of the book, and the plot, driving me forward. But I was also feeling a little sad. It's the last time."
He also admitted that he "sobbed and sobbed". The reported asked, "That means someone we like dies, doesn't it?" He replied "Well, it means it is a very, very emotional book".

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows cover released!

Yes Guys, a big news today! Take a seat before you procede, as Deathly Hallows cover-art is released. The cover art reveals several thing's answers and well-as some unanswered questions.

UPDATE: Bloomsbury also announced today that the UK edition (and possibily Indian Editon also) will be 608 pages long and ₤ 17.99 in price.

This price is something that will surely loose around Rs. 1000 from your parents pocket (and the price will be not less than 900 as HBP was Rs. 895, so price may also rise as up as Rs. 1550 , so parents, put your fingers crossed!).

First Reviews of OOTP are Online

Okay guys, before you proceed to view all this, I must tell you that a big spoiler awaits you ahead. Ain't Cool News has posted a review for OOTP and well as fans at MuggleNet has also given three reviews.
So, Here's some main cool plot details from all 4 reviews (remember, I've no idea about the movie yet as I haven't seen it. So, these are most possible plot details from the above reviews. )
BIG SPOILER, select to view :-
- Film starts same as book (with Dementors attack)
- Dursleys are given short time in the movie but all 3 or 5 minutes are awesome.
- Tonks is not so cool and is quite different as book.
- The flight through London is awe-inspiring.
- Moody on his specialised broom is superb.
- Grimmauld place is grim and the Black family tapestry is enormous.
- Lupin's on-screen time is too short .
- Michael Gambon is now a bit calm and gives a tinge of Richard Harris. He's improving.
- Luna is damn good.
- Imelda Staunton's Dolores Umbridge is simply one of the most evil creations you will ever wish to see.
- The DA scenes are handled superbly .
- The Harry and Cho's kiss is not just a kiss but a full make-out session. (But not too much showing )
- Scenes with Hagrid and Grawp are a tad long, but good.
- Twins exit from Hogwarts is 10 on 10.
- Big difference from the book is Grawp saving Harry and Hermione from Umbridge and the centaurs but Imelda's face as shes flung into the trees in a picture.
- The BIG fight is a masterpiece .
- The fight scene is the coolest one and most matching to the book.
- Death scene is too emotional.

Overall MuggleIndia gives this flick as 7 and a half out of 10 and a PG-13 (U/A) rating.

Ten Thousand Order of the Phoenix

In a discussion at Variety.com , Veronika Kwan-Rubinek, Warner Bros' international prexy of distribution, talked about Order of the Phoenix, just one of the major flicks coming out this summer :
"The opening date is not an obvious choice on the domestic side, but it really does put our best foot forward internationally. With 'Harry Potter,' we're going day and date everywhere except in the Middle East and a few minor markets, because most are going to be in holidays at that point, so this date really maximizes our opportunity."
With so many tentpoles, the battle for screens will be intense.
"We'll have between 6,000 and 7,000 on 'Ocean's' and over 10,000 on 'Harry' but that's going to be a challenge because there are so many incredible films coming."

Happy Birthday, Ron

Today is March 1st and its birthday of Ron. From MuggleIndia, Happy B'day, Ronald. There must be celebrations at Weasley Wizard Wheezes, don't you think so?
One more thing, Jo's site is also updated with this event.

Equus - Opening day and standing ovation

Dan's west-end debut, Equus opened last night here in London, and the whole theatre was full of crowd. All of the performers recieved good comments and especially Dan recieved standing ovation. Other celebs also gave good comments on his role.

According to The Times:
Radcliffe proves an assured actor and makes a perfectly able equimaniac. He can do aggression and pain, and, oddly, is lacking only in the sense of magic and wonder the part demands.
though gripping and theatrically skilful, Equus is at root dated, pretentious and even a bit pernicious, much like the 1960s guru who clearly influenced Shaffer.
You can view the reviews at : The Independent , The Guardian , The Times and Reuters .
There is an interview of Dan and Richard Griffiths (who plays Uncle Vernon), telecasted at CNN last night.
